Joseph H. "Joe" Baer, was born June 18, 1940 in Kingsport, TN, was called home by his Heavenly Father and Savior August 12, 2010. Born to a Christian father, pastor/missionary to the Navajo people, and loving supportive mother who both instilled a love for the Lord, music and people, Joe started singing at age three and never stopped. Sharing cowboy, western and gospel music has been his life and ministry. A patient gentle spirit, Joe loved everyone just as themselves, finding a special quality in each. Joe is survived by wife of 49 years, Sandy; sisters Judy Wrede (Brian) and Ginny Caizza (Tom); daughter Stacey Lynn Baer; 2 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010, 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Apache Junction, 235 S. Thunderbird Dr., Apache Junction, Az.
