He was the son of George and Anna(Richardson) Schum and on July 17, 1920 he married Miss Nettie Beatty who died Jan. 13, 1981 surviving is a daughter Mrs. Madaline R. Nagle of Altoona 2 grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
