Nettie Larsen Anger
Nettie Larsen Anger, 92, and long time Olson Community resident, died early Friday morning, June 30, 1995, at the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 28, 1903, in Lee Township, to the late L. Peter and Mary (Sorensen) Larsen. She attended the Olson School and Midland High School. She and her sister, Eva, managed the Olson Store for many years. She married Russell E. (Dick) Anger on June 27, 1925, with whom she owned and managed a farm. He predeceased her on Sept. 23, 1978. She was a member of the Olson Community Church and had enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Anger of Birmingham and Lois Allen of Kalamazoo; four sons, Harold and Clara, Donald and Gaylia, Dale and Marsha, of Midland and Russell and Lorelei of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Elva (Mrs. Kenneth) Smith, Ethel (Charles) McGraw, Norma (Lindsay) Cronkright; one brother, L. Peter Larsen (Zula), all of Midland. She was predeceased by one daughter, Gayle Ann and her sister, Eva Haebler.
Funeral services for Nettie will take place at 11 a.m. on Mondy, July 3, 1995, from Ware-Smith-Woolever & Co. Funeral Chapel, 1200 W. Wheeler St. Pastor Fred Becknell and the Rev. Janet Larner will officite with burial in Lee Township Cemetery.
Nettie's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Olson Community Church, Council on Aging, Greendale HDM or the church of your choice.
