Russell Anger
Russell E. (Dick) Anger, 76, of 1140 West Olson, died Saturday in Paw Paw. He was born Aug. 20, 1902, in Midland.
He attended elementary school in Poseyville and married Nettie Larsen on June 27, 1925. The couple celebrated their golden anniversary in 1975. Mr. Anger had operated the Lee Township Farm Service since 1930 and for many years worked as a carpenter, retiring in 1964.
Mr. Anger also raised purebred livestock for 30 years and was a member of the Michigan Shorthorn Breeders Association. He was a member of the Carpenters Local 1654.
Mr. Anger is survived by his wife, Nettie; four sons, Harold, Donald and Dale of Midland, and Russell of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. James (Lois) Allen of Paw Paw, and Miss Linda Anger of Troy, a sister, Mrs. Erwin Townsend of Midland; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ware-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Lee Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.
