Casimir J. Pajakowski, 68, of 5140 Ford, died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday in Rush Presbyterain Hospital, St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, after a lengthy illness. Born in South Bend on Feb. 12, 1912, he was a life-time resident of the area.
He was retired in 1977 after 10 years with the Production Engineering Department of AM General Corp.
On May 26, 1936 in South Bend, he married Henrietta V. Grontkowski.She survives along with a son, Charles A. of South Bend; Mrs. Virginia Krol of South Bend and Mrs. Theresa [Teresa] Varda of Wycoff [Wyckoff], N.J. and two brothers, Ernest of South Bend, and Leo of Osceola.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council 5521 and former host of the Polonia Polish Hour on the former WHOT Radio (now WNDU).
