MRS. NANCY HOBBS -- Life of Good Woman Came to End Saturday Evening.
.....Mrs. Nancy B. Hobbs, aged 69, wife of John Hobbs, died at the home at1906 C Street Saturday evening at 6:30 o'clock, of stomach trouble, after a few days illness.
.....Mrs. Hobbs was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Leavell and was born in Tipton county, October 15, 1849. She was married in November, 1867, to John Hobbs. Seven children were born , those surviving being Mrs. Oscar Gilchrist, Mrs. Charles Stewart, Benjamin and Morton Hobbs of this locality, and Fred Hobbs, of Oklahoma.
.....She was one of the beloved women of the community and the bereaved family has the sympathy of a wide circle of friends.
.....The funeral services will be conducted at the Christian church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by Rev. Drake, of New Lancaster, assisted by Rev. Robert Sellers. The internment will follow in the Cook cemetery.

BURIAL AT NEW LANCASTER.
.....The funeral of Mrs. Nancy Hobbs was conducted at the East Main Street Christian Church this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Drake, Christian minister, at New Lancaster, assisted by Rev. Sellers. There were many friends in attendance from the community in which she formerly lived and a large party met the funeral cortege at the Cook Cemetery where the burial took place.
