Scott Edward Bayles
September 11, 1943 - January 27, 2007

Scott Edward Bayles went with the angels on January 27, 2007. Scott was born in Oakland, CA to Ed and June Bayles.
Scott, his brother, Bruce, and many friends started coming up to the county when they were very young to a mining claim on Highway 49 on the Cosumnes River outside of Plymouth. For many, many, years family and friends went to the cabin, the spot, every weekend they could.
Scott loved to ride motorcycles, hunt, fish, and party.
Scott belonged to the local 295 plasters union out of the Bay Area. He textured many houses and businesses in and out of the county. His texture was so unique he was known as one of the number one plasterers of Northern California.
Scott had many friends in all walks of life and was known as the Scotsman.
He had a Porsche for many years and in the past couple of years bought a 1926 model T. He wanted to enter it in parades, but became ill before he was able to.
Scott was "Uncle Scotty" to all kids, always happy and jolly never complaining. Even in his last days if you asked him how he was feeling he'd say, "I'm fine".
Scott is survived by his precious son, Joshua Bayles of Mount Aukum; his stepson, Mathew and wife Jenni; grandchildren, Mandi Dillon and Allie of Mount Aukum. His brother, Bruce and wife JoAnn; nieces, Karen and Andrea all of Copperopolis; sister, Sally and husband Morice; nephew, Joel; niece, Stacey all of Modesto; stepbrothers, Mike and wife Margo, Phil and wife Lida; Aunti Ester; cousins, Dixie and Bonnie all of Mokelumne Hill; sister-in-law, Diazetta and husband Larry; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Terry, Kelsey, and Kaylynn all of Plymouth; sister-in-law Debbie; nieces, Joy and Lindsey all of Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, June Pancoast and stepfather, Walt Pancoast.
Scott will be in our hearts forever.
Family and close friends are invited to attend a memorial service Friday, February 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. By request of the family services will be private for family and close friends. A reception will follow the service at the home of Terry and Evelyn Coulter in Plymouth. Inurnment will be private.
