James A. Michael, 71, died on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at home. Born in St. Louis, MO, Mr. Michael resided in South Orange before moving to Old Bridge 40 years ago. An Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post #25. Mr. Michael was a sales representative for Nabisco Foods in East Hanover for 25 years. Mr. Michael was also employed by the State of NJ Treasury Department.

Surviving are his wife, Alice Douglass Michael; a son, James Jr. of Monroe Twp.; a daughter, Meredith Offenburger of Toms River; a sister, Sharon Michael of Johnstown, NY, and two grandsons, Raymond James, and Christopher Offenburger.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
