THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Wednesday, December 18, 1935, p.10. 'Last rites for Miss Clara Martha Adams, 18 year old Junior college student who died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital, was held Wednesday morning at First Baptist church by the pastor, Dr. W. M. Wright, classes at the college being dismissed for the funeral hour. Interment was made at Evergreen cemetery, Ralls White, Tolbert Murrah, Billy Russell, George M. Alexander, Berwyn Scott and Thomas Hunt being pallbearers. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Adams of 62 North Twenty-sixth street and a sister, Miss Dora Adams, survive. Miss Adams was president of the college home economics club and active in the work of First Baptist Church.'
