OAKLAND CO-PILOT KILLED IN ACTION
Lieutenant Thomas H. Hudson Jr., 22, co-pilot of a Flying Fortress, was killed in action January 5 on a bombing mission over Bordeaux, France, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hudson Sr. of 3108 Pleitner Avenue.
A graduate of Visalia Junior College, Lieutenant Hudson enlisted in the Army Air Corps in April, 1942, and has been overseas since last October. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Miss Barbara Hudson and Mrs. Marjorie Spencer, and a brother, Aviation Cadet Clifford Hudson, stationed at a Louisiana airfield.
