Grezilda, passed away at her home from kidney cancer. She was the daughter of James Ransom and Elizabeth Evaline (Dees) Feagan. She married William James Morrison on January 27, 1892, in Mount Vernon, Jefferson County, Illinois. They had four children, Lester James, Lilly, Ora Bell, and an infant son who died at birth in 1911. She married William Raleigh Howe on January 7, 1914. They had two sons, Ralph and Claude.

She is survived by her children, Pvt. Claude Howe, Pvt. Ralph Howe, Lester Morrison, and Ora Mathis, her step-children, Ruth Key, W.A. Howe, and Joseph Howe, her siblings, Maggie Vaughn, Evie Golden, and Jessie Feagan.

Funeral services were conducted at the Steele Church of God. Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
