Albert is 3rd of 5 children of Anton J. Wedum and Bertha J. Hovren (the first 4 of which immigrated to the US). He was born in the rural town of Øyer (his funeral program lists Hunder, but this was probably the name of the farm where he was born [in Norwegian tradition of referring to the farm], and his birth location is listed as Lillehammer on his marriage record [about 15 miles away, Lillehammer was probably the largest town nearby]). On April 27 1905, Albert married Ella O. Bronson (daughter of his first cousin Carrie Vedum -- Carrie is the daughter of Anton's brother Ole, 21 years his senior). Their only child is Clara Bernice "B" Wedum Hancock. Albert had a lumber business in Dillon, Montana. Albert and Ella moved to Long Beach, CA around 1920. Albert was known to his grandchildren as "Bampa". At the time of his burial, this cemetery was known as Sunnyside Memorial Park and Mausoleum.

This is Albert's younger sister Karen (Carrie) Wedum Soby. This is Albert's older brother John.
