The Shelby Republican of Tues., Jan. 30, 1906, reported:
"WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Harrell Succumbs After Intense Suffering—Neuralgia of Heart
Mrs. Lindley Belle Harrell, 43, wife of Preston Harrell, living in Brandywine township, died at 1 o'clock this morning from what is believed to be neuralgia of the heart. Mrs. Harrell had been in poor health for some time but her death was entirely unexpected to members of the family. She was stricken suddenly Thursday night and continued to grow worse until death came.
Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at Brandywine M. E. church. The Rev. Mr. Best will officiate. Interment in Brandywine cemetery, in charge of Edwards and Hageman."
