He was born March 16, 1941, in Lincoln County, the son of Maxine Bruner Adams, Eubank, and the late Geader Adams.
He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church No. 2.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Bethel Jean Releford Adams, Stanford; two sons, Jimmy Adams, Stanford, and Danny Adams, Brodhead; three daughters, Angie Patterson and Irene Patterson, both of Stanford, and Janet Thompson, Brodhead; two brothers, David Adams, Lancaster, and Billy Joe Adams, Eubank; four sisters, Josephine Sowders, Stanford, Mary Lou Dowell, Waynesburg, Betty Bullock, Livingston and Alene Pittman, Eubank; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Singleton Cemetery, Singletontown, with Bros. Delmer Whitter and Vola Brown officiating.
