There is a wide area with no apparent stones that separates Section 1 and 2. Section 2 starts on the southern edge of the cemetery with an old monolith-style stone that is almost in the road. There is a tree near this marker, with numerous damaged stones leaning around it.

I believe this is the William Garrett who married Rachel DeWalt on 5 Mar 1855 in Andrew Co, Missouri. Rachel was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Sparlan DeWalt, all born in Ohio. She appears in the 1850 census in Nodaway township, Andrew Co, MO with her family. In the same census, there is a William Garrett, 20, born in Kentucky in Jefferson, Andrew Co, MO. Head of household is Robert Garrett, 44.
