Son of James and Fanny (Yates) Falconbury; born February 11, 1895 in Rutland, Marshall County, Indiana. Occupation: Machinist. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army on April 9, 1917 at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Sent to Fort Thomas, Kentucky and Fort Hancock, New Jersey. Assigned to Company M, 320th Infantry, 80th Division. Embarked for overseas on May 26, 1918. Wounded October 13, 1918 at Argonne Forest and died the same day. Buried in American Cemetery, Cunel, France. Survived by widow, Mrs. Forest Falconbury, Lakeville, Indiana, and daughter Evelyn Forest. Died at age 23 years, 8 months, 2 days. Time in service: 1 year, 6 months, 5 days.
