Devine, Medina Co., Tex. , March 18. – Died, at his home in Devine on Friday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. , Dr. George W. Howard, a prominent citizen and physician, in the 48th year of his age. He was a native of Coffee County, Tenn., and a graduate of the medical department of Vanderbilt University. He came to Texas in January, 1886, and settled in Devine, where he continued to reside until his death. His death was caused by the grip and pneumonia.
