Mr. Allison was a lifetime resident of Walnut Ridge. He was a retired farmer and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. His wife, Ethel Boothe Allison preceded him in death on May 30, 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Shelton, Rt. 3, Walnut Ridge; a brother, Russell Allison of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Flora Turner of Hoxie and Eva Hyslop of Walnut Ridge; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Sunday morning at 10:00 AM in the Bryan Chapel with Rev. Jewell McCrackin and Rev. Bob G. Smith officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Donnie Allison, Glen Boothe, Almus Crider, Amos Jones, Rick McEntire, and Kenneth McEntire. Honorary pallbearers were Ron Allison, Darrell Allison, Muriel Allison, and Jimmy Reithmeyer.
