Alberta Florence Duffy, 91, of Elmira, N.Y., formerly of Butler died Tuesday at Elcor Heath Service, Horseheads, N.Y.
Born Sept. 28, 1913, she was the daughter of Martha Fritz and Ulysses Grant Curry. She worked in the cafeterias of the Butler Veteran`s Affairs Medical Center and Butler Senior High. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Tanglewood Senior Center.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Duffy of Philadelphia, Eileen Nodge and Mary Ottolini, both of Butler; a son, James Duffy, of Elmira; a sister, Mrs. Glenn Helen Felsing of Butler; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Duffy on Feb. 8, 1960. Three brothers, a step-brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.

DUFFY--Friends of Alberta Florence Duffy, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David J. Panther of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
