Jean C. Spaulding, 71, of Delhi died Sunday at her daughter's home. Mrs. Spaulding was a native of Madisonville, Ky. She lived in the Delhi-Turlock area 30 years. She was a school teacher for Turlock Elementary School District for 20 years. She graduated from Whittier College. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, Turlock.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Weeden; stepchildren, John Spaulding, Jean Holt and Nancy Honeyfield; sister, Sue Schalgeter; and 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Francis Episcopal Church. Burial will be follow at Turlock Memorial Park, Turlock. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today at Allen Mortuary, Turlock.
