Frances McCreight - REYNOLDSVILUE - Miss Frances P. McCreight, 63, of 214 Hill St., a lifelong resident of this community, died at 9:50 p.m. Friday, in the DuBois Hospital. Friends will be received at the Eugene F. Smith Funeral Home after noon Sunday and until time of services on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. Wayne K. King will officiate and burial will be in the McCreight Cemetery near Reynoldsville.
Miss McCreight was born at Reynoldsville Dec. 28, 1907, daughter of Smith M. and Nettie (Amend) McCreight.
She graduated from the local schools and received her B.S. Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Reynoldsville.
She had recently retired after twenty-nine years of service with the Jefierson County State Public Assistance Department ol Pennsylvania.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Jane) Whitworth, Pittsburgh and Mrs. D. E. (Betty) Shoemaker, Scottsdale, Ariz.
