Lifetime Centralia resident Bradley Coleman Hultberg passed away July 26th, 2010, peacefully at his home after a brief but heroic battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the people he loved the most. Brad was born May 31st 1949 to Myrna and Max Hultberg. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1967 and in 1968 joined the US Navy becoming a radioman on the USS Ogden, stationed in San Diego, CA. Upon his return to Centralia in 1972 was employed at the Centralia coal mine and continued his employment there for 37 years. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Melva Hultberg, daughters Janielle Hultberg (Seattle) and Katie Hultberg, grand-daughter Raylee Warnken, brother Jay Hultberg (Judy), mother Myrna Hultberg, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous cherished friends he considered family.
Brad enjoyed time with his family, several activities, horseback riding, hunting, camping, and spending time at his favorite place, the Longbeach Peninsula WA. He also served on the Salvation Army board and was a long time member of the Eagles. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
