BRACKETT RITES SET IN TENNESSEE

Mrs. Iva Ann Chapman Brackett, 75, died Friday night at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Geneva Crum, 609 Mary Lane, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Old Fort, Tenn., with interment in Old Ford Cemetery. Dobbins Funeral Home had charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Brackett, widow of the late David Wesley Brackett, had lived in Marietta for the past 11 months. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church in Old Fort, Tenn.

Besides her daughter in Marietta, Mrs. Brackett is survived by eight other daughters. Mrs Bertha Lambert, Mrs. Pearl Higgins, Mes. Iva Wade, all of Rome; Mrs. Willie Brown, Hill City; Mrs. Artie Kennedy, Vonore, Tenn.; Mrs. Hilah Simpson, Loudon, Tenn.; Mrs. Alice Smiley, Mrs. Nellie Pressley, both of Chattanooga, Tenn.; seven sons, Homer Brackett, Sterling Brackett, Fred Brackett, all of Old Fort, Tenn.; Marcus Brackett, Lenora City, Tenn.; Burt Brackett, Cluss Brackett, both of Rome;Norman Brackett, Vonore, Tenn.; and 65 grandchildren.
