Mr. Morgan was born in Greensboro, AL and made his home in Macon for most of his life. He moved to Milledgeville where he lived many years and lived at the GA War Veterans home for the past 2 ½ years. He was preceded in death by his parents Amos Calvin Morgan, Sr. and Ola Dale Davis Morgan, his Wife, Loretta Drew Morgan, Sisters: Shelly Cook, Gertrude Tripp, Lola Phillips, Eva Ballard and Brother Robert Morgan.

Mr. A.C. Morgan, an Army Veteran, served in the Korean War where he received 2 Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. He retired as a long time owner of Morse Sales and Service in Macon, GA and as the former Manager of Baldwin Bowling Center in Milledgeville. Mr. Morgan was an avid Bowler and supported Bowling in the State of GA where he held many positions.

Survivors include his daughters; Jeanne Hardwick (Emmett) and Patricia Knowles (Gary) of Milledgeville, Teresa Akins (Charlie) of Macon and Laura Mazzola (Frank) of Coolidge, Sisters: Mary Sizemore, Wetumpka, AL, Lula Landrum (Jimmy), Birmingham, AL, Patricia Flowers (Billy), Forkland, AL, Brothers: John Morgan (Debra) and Thomas Morgan, Forkland, AL, Grandchildren: Calvin and Rich Hardwick, Marcus Knowles, Walter Huellemeier, Erin White and Anthony Mazzola, and (9) Great Grandchildren.
