Progenitor of Bozeman Adair line. Land grant in Wilkes County Ga. Jan 1778. Served in Militia under Col. Elijah Clark. Owned 1400 acres of land Wilkes County Ga Clarks Ford of Long Creek. His wife's name was Sarah Ann. October 1801 William and his son Robert sold all land in Wilkes County and it is assumed they moved to be close to his son Bozeman in Jackson County Ga. By 1804 William and Robert were dead and Bozeman was in charge of their estate.
