Lucille Grace (Holm) Dahl was born November 4, 1916, at her home in Pilot Grove, MN the daughter of Edwin and Rose (Hauge) Holm. She grew up in Pilot Grove and Svea, Minnesota, where she was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Pilot Grove. Lucille graduated from East Chain High School in 1934 and remained in the Pilot Grove area. She married Casper L. Dahl on February 26, 1938 at Salem Lutheran Church in Pilot Grove. The couple farmed in the Pilot Grove area until Casper's death on October 13, 1978. Lucille was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church, Pilot Grove and then moving to Blue Earth, MN where she was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and volunteered at the Blue Earth United Hospital, the city of Blue Earth Visitors Center and Trinity Ladies Aid for many years. Lucille enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings Football and she loved growing flowers & gardening. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and she loved her family and cooking for them at the many get-togethers. Though her family mourns her death, they know they have been blessed by her loving spirit for many years.

Lucille is survived by her son, Wayne (& Kaye) Dahl of Johnston, Iowa, her daughter, Kay (& Verlyn) Sandersfeld of Fairmont, her son, Richard (& Rosemary) Dahl of Blue Earth, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her sister, Rose Holland of Blue Earth, her sister-in-law, Arlene Holm of Blue Earth, her brother-in-law, Thomas (& Stella) Dahl of Elmore, her aunt, Alice Hartwig of Hutchinson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Casper, brother- Ray Holm, sister- Ruth Clark,
a granddaughter-Pamela Dahl, a great granddaughter- Lindsay Sandersfeld, brothers-in-law: Art Holland, Don Clark & Palmer Dahl and one sister-in-law, Ruth Dahl.
