Marjorie was born in Ohio but moved with her family to Oklahoma about 1905. They first lived in the Pleasant Hill area and then moved into Eldorado. She was a graduate of Eldorado High School and began college classes in Edmond and then began teaching. Marjorie married Leslie Dial on June 4, 1924 in Eldorado. She earned her college degree in 1939, She was a long-time teacher in Eldorado School System. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She was the mother of Marianne Dial Deadmon.
