Mrs. Mary Nettie Crews, 76, died at her residence on West Fifth Street yesterday morning after a few hours illness. Mrs. Crews was born in Bradford County and had lived there until about 20 years ago when she came to Jacksonville and made her home with her son.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Mill Creek Fla. where funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock today with the Rev Mr. Strickland officiating.
Interment will be in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 11 o'clock today.
Mrs. Crews is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Ida Wright of Jacksonville and Mrs. Louise Permenter of Nassau County, six sons S.A.,Claude, Randall and Percy of Jacksonville, William of Callahan, and David of Malone, Fla.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of Burns-Naugle Funeral Home of South Jacksonville.
