TOMLINSON--Mark Lafayette Tomlinson, who live at Rt. 2, Hilliard, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Mr. Tomlinson was born in Georgia and had lived in Nassau County about 60 years. He was a member of the Buford Grove Baptist Church, Hilliard.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Millie C. Tomlinson of Hilliard; seven daughters, Mrs. Lillian Freeman, Mrs. Stella Davis, and Mrs. Ruby Carter, all of Fernandina Beach., Mrs. Mildred Freeman, Mrs. Nellie Brown and Mrs. Eva Vanzant, all of Jacksonville and Miss Delanine Tomlinson of Hilliard, two sons, Frank Tomlinson of Jacksonville and Robert Tomlinson of Hilliard; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Sikes of Hilliard, and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Buford Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Murrhee pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Carroll, Andrew Carroll, Wilson Carroll, Addison Sikes, Cecil Sikes, J. L. Reeves. R. L. Tomlinson and Kenneth Tomlinson.
The body will be at the residence from Thursday afternoon.
