CREWS--Mrs. Mamie B. Crews, 76, who lived at 4326 Anvers Blvd., widow of the late Eddie I. Crews, former employe with the City of Jacksonville for many years, died Saturday at a local hospital. She was a native of Fitzgerald, Ga., and had lived in Jacksonville for the last 48 years. She was a member of the Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Lucretia Crews of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Anderson of Satsuma, and Mrs. Agnes Hodges of Jacksonville, two grandsons; Lewis H. Crews, Jr., and Robert; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Giddens-Griffith Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., with the Rev. U.S. Rushing officiating.

Burial will be in the Mill Creek Cemetery near Callahan.

Active pallbearers will be Havard Hodges, Herman Grand, Lester Hodges, N.W. Hodges, Harris Hodges and Walter E. Tomlinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Carroll, Noah Carroll, Robert L. Simmons, Walter L. Simmons, Gerald Barnard, Cecil Carroll, Leon Carroll, Wilson Carroll, Frank Jones, Jack Johns and James Carroll.
