Funeral services for Lawrence Curtis "Poppy" Hartley 73, of Jacksonville were held Monday, May 2, 1994 at 11am graveside in Mill Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Ward officiating.
The Florida native as an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie Belle Hartley of Jacksonville. Mother, Annie Hartley of Folkston, Georgia. One daughter Sheila Hartley of Jacksonville, Three sons Johnny,Gary,and David Hartley all of Jacksonville, Two sisters Audrey Harris of Jacksonville and Lucille Saunders of Baldwin, one brother Fred Plummer of Jacksonville, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
