CREWS--Eddie Isom Crews, 74, who lived at 2895 Edison Ave., died Sunday evening at the residence. Mr. Crews was born in Nassau County and had lived in Jacksonville for 35 years.

He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the City of Jacksonville park department.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mammie Crews, Jacksonville; son and daughter-in-law, Lewis H. and Lucretia Crews, Jacksonville; two brothers John G. Crews, Fredericksburg, Va., Josh Crews, New York City; four sisters; Mrs. Anna Carroll, Jacksonville, Mrs. Nettie Carroll, Hilliard, Mrs. E. Bennett, Walchula, Mrs. Mattie Jones, Miami, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Laodicia Primitive Baptist Church, New Kings Road and 25th Street with Elder Ben Thomas officiating.

The interment will be in Mill Creek Cemetery near Hilliard, with Giddens Funeral Home, 116 Riverside Ave. in charge.
