Tommy Wilford Green, 70, of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Dutton Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell P. Elms, pastor of Life Tabernacle Church, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home at Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park. Tommy was born Jan. 9, 1936, in Knox City to Wilford and Sallie Patton Green, who preceded him in death. He and Ruth Robertson were married May 28, 1955, in Wichita Falls. He retired from Texo Oil Company as a driller; he owned and operated A to Z Auto Salvage until closing it. He was also a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Wichita Falls; two sons, Tommy Green of Wichita, Kan., and Jimmy Green of Wichita Falls; two daughters, JoAnn Stone of Wichita Falls and Sarah Plowick of Charlie; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a sister, Billie Valenzuela of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Johnnie Green of Cleburne, Texas, Bobby Green and David Green of Wichita Falls.
