James C. "Jim" Hartsel, age 65, of Columbus Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Jim was a wonderful loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends where he always had a joke for you. His unforgettable laugh will be missed by all. Jim was a faithful member and volunteer of The Grove City Church of the Nazarene where his passion was participating in the Music Ministry; he retired from Nationwide Insurance Co. and was a US Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Virgie Hartsel and brother Melvin Hartsel. Survivors included his beloved wife of 43 years Bette Hartsel; children Derek Hartsel, Brad (Melissa) Hartsel, Jenne (Skip) Moerch, Amy (John) Cox and Ashley (Fiancé' Jason) Hartsel; grandchildren Christopher, Samantha, Sydnie, Ethan and Curtis; great grandchild Christopher Dillon II; brother Don Hartsel and sister Lois
