Surviving are children, Alfred & Nellie Habegger, Martha Longoria, Valerie Habegger, Eric Habegger, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Jeanne & Carl Crouthamel; Helen & Herbert Fretz; Esther & Paul Sauder, and a brother, David & LaVeta Habegger.
A brother, Bernard Habegger and a sister, Lois Ruth Habegger preceded him in death.
Dr. Habegger practiced family medicine from 1944 to 1981. He was the first Medical Director of Sierra View Homes in Reedley, CA. He was an avid orchid grower for over 45 years.
Memorial services were held November 3, 2007 at First Mennonite Church, Reedley, CA with burial in Reedley Cemetary, Reedley, CA.

Dr. Marden Carl Habegger passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at the age of 90.
He was born on February 21, 1917, in Bluffton, Ohio, to Alfred and Barbara Habegger. He was raised in Montana where his parents were missionaries to the Cheyenne Indians. He is the grandson of David and Elizabeth Habegger and graduated from Berne High School in 1934. He graduated from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas in 1938. It was here that he met his future wife, Marianna Ensz. They were married on December 30, 1939, while he was attending medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
