Mrs. Agnes Peickert, 88, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at St. Micheal's Hospital, where she had been a patient since Nov. 13.
Mrs. Peickert, who lived at the Whiting Motor Hotel, was vice president of the Midwest Hotel Co., the holding firm which owns the Whiting.
She was the widow of John N. Peickert, a Stevens Point business man.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, with burial in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home, where the rosary will be said tonight at 7:30.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Peickert's name for St. Michael's Hospital.
Mrs. Peickert, a member of a pioneer Stevens Point family, was born here and lived here all her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Clifford, and she was the last of a family of 13 children.
Her father was a merchant in Stevens Point.
Her marriage to Mr. Peickert took place June 28, 1905, at St. Stephen's.
He died Dec. 7, 1935.
Mrs. Peickert was a member of St. Stephen's Church and its Altar Society.
She is survived by two sons, Jack, Dallas, Tex., and Clifford, a Stevens Point attorney; a daughter, Mrs. Herman B. (Dorothy) Vetter, 112 Sunrise Ave., Park Ridge; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchilden.
