Carl was the first born child of Arnold Geiser and Lena Kurth.

He was the husband of Adele Prudence Stevenson. They were married on August 27, 1919. They had 3 Children , Richard Carl 1920, Elizabeth Gertrude 1924, and Ladonna 1933. He was a Farmer and a Gas Station Owner.

Carl Arnold Geiser was born east of Columbus November 17,
1895 and passed away 26 February 1936 at the age of 40,
3 months and 9 days. Carl lived with his parents east of Columbus for one year and then they moved to the farm seven miles southeast of Genoa where his parents still reside.

He was united in marriage to Adel Stevenson of Columbus
on August 27, 1919. They made their home on a farm 8
miles north of Genoa for 8 years after which they moved
to Genoa, where he resided until his death.

During the past seven years he was employed by the Conoca Oil Company. Last fall he started a filling station.

To mourn his passing are his wife and two daughters,
Elizabeth Gertrude,11 and LaDonna Adel,5: his father and
Mother, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Geiser; three brothers and
two sisters, John, Clarence, Sam, Ellen, and Eula. John
is living at home, Clarence is married and also living
at home, Sam is married and living in Monroe. Ellen is
married to Emil Hobbensiefken and living on a farm near
Platte center, Eula is married to Walter Hobbensiefken
and living in Genoa. One son Richard Carl, died in
infancy.

Carl had many friends who shall miss him. May all that
mourn be comforted and led by the hand of him who is
able to keep all that trust themselves to his care.

Funeral services were held in the home and the Methodist
Church Sunday afternoon. Rev.Munson of West Hill
officiated as the pastor, Rev. Strombom was unable to
because of illness. And Rev.Gustafson of the Lutheran
Church and Rev.C.Williams Deglow assisted. Hymns were
sung by Misses LaVerne Johnson and Gwendolyn Weaver,
E.P. Baruth, Rev. and Mrs. Munson accompanied by Mrs.
Strombom. Interment was made in Valley View cemetery.

FOUND DEAD IN CAR

GENOA, Neb.(UP). Financial reasons were believed responsible for the apparent self inflicted death of Carl Geiser, 40, independent filling station operator. Geiser was found dead at the wheel of his automobile in his garage. A hose had been connected to the exhaust pipe and run through the floor boards of the car.
