Samuel Price was the fourth child of William Fletcher and Sally Anne (Tillerson) Richardson.
His father never returned from the Civil War. His mother remarried and moved away. All the children ended up in the Gothenbrug Nebraska area. That was were he met and married Annie Jane Preston. They had nine children. In 1891 they were living in Holyoke, Colorado, 1893 in Custer County, NE, 1896 Cedar County, MO, 1903 Pottawatomie, OK, 1910 Comanche, OK. After several years of living in Oklahoma, Samuel and Annie Jane parted. Samuel lived for several years in Cedar County Missouri. He spent his last years living with his children.
