Marcella Frances "Dolly" McDonnell was born on May 11, 1906, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of James F. McDonnell (1874-1956) and Mrs. Nora M. (Gara) McDonnell (1874-1934).
She married Harold 'Harry' Isidor Nordmark on 16 June 1930 in Chicago. They had three children (Dorothy, Dolores and Richard). After Harry died in 1959, she moved to California, where her son Richard (Dick), and brother James McDonnell was living.
James introduced Marcella to Henry 'Hank' Joseph Bialek (also a widower), with whom he was friends through their association with the Knights of Columbus organization. They were married February 3, 1962, in Los Angeles County, California.
Hank and Marcella lived in Culver City, Los Angeles County, California, from 1962 to about 1977, then moved to El Toro, near the Marine base, in Orange County, California (now known as 'Lake Forest'). They lived their remaining years together there.
Marcella died at the age of 75 years, 21 years to the day (May 6th 1982) after Hank's first wife, Florence, died (6 May 1961). Hank died seven months later.
