Dan Jarvis of P. O. Box 20, Niland died on December 10 in Bakersfield at the age of 82. He was born in California and was longtime resident of Colton where he was aircraft maintenance man at Norton Air Force Base before retiring. He was survived by his three daughters, Colene Ora Lathrop of Texas, Velma Elaine Jenkins of Montana and Carol M.Jarvis of Riverside, two sons, Daniel of Running Springs and Robert of Big Bear, two brothers, Anthony Joaquin of Morgan Hill, California and Joseph Joaquin of San Jose, one sister, Mae Biers of Hayward, 32 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Montecito Memorial Cemtery wtih Grove Colonial Mortuary in charge of the services.

He married Minnie Joaquin of California and they had two daughters. He later married Eva Mae Easton, of Kansas on May 14, 1959 in Imperial, California and they had five children together. He died on December 10, 1975 in Bakersfield, California as did Eva Mae Jarvis.
