Eva Mae Jarvis of Niland, California, a native of Missouri and former long-time resident of Colton, died December 10 in Bakersfield along with her husband, Dan Jarvis. They were survived by three daughters, Colleen Lathrop of Texas, Velma Jenkins of Montana and Carol Jarvis of Riverside, two sons, Daniel of Running Springs and Robert of Big Bear, one sister, Ethel Casey of Niland, two brothers, Earl and Ora Easton, 32 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One daughter, Evelyn, died in infancy.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17, at Montecito Memorial Cemetery, with Grove Colonial Mortuary handling the arrangements.

She married Dan Jarvis (of California) first in Perris, in 1928 (and again on May 14, 1959 in Imperial, California). Together, they had six children (as well as two each from previous marriages). They died in a vehicle accident in Bakersfield, California on December 10, 1975.
