Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hostetler of Hubbard; five brothers, James and Thomas of Hubbard; Royce of Tigard; Glenn of Aurora and Kenneth of Canby; and a sister, Susan Burgess of Alpine.
Memorial services were Feb. 21 at the Fairview Hospital Chapel in Salem. Private interment followed at Zion Memorial [sic Mennonite] Cemetery in Hubbard. Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary of Salem was in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the Hematology Department of the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland.
