Virginia L.(Pearson) Baker, 102, of West Broadway, Richmond passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her home. She was born in Richmond, on June 3, 1908, to the late Scudder and Pearl (Jones) Pearson and was the widow of Reuben Baker. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

She is survived by five daughters, Ella Rae Rafferty of Jewel, Kansas, Gloria Mango of West Springfield, Massachusetts, Barbara Kingsbury of Cooper City, Florida, Jacquelyn Roden of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, and Judy Baker of Sebring, Florida.; four sons, Roy "Buddy" Baker and Ronnie Baker, both of Richmond, as well as, Jim Baker and Donnie Baker, both of Lexington. She also leaves two sisters, Arnold Hill of Richmond and Christine Wilcox of Mt. Sterling and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Reuben, she was recently preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Clements.
