Beulah Williams Harrell, 84, a former resident of North Road Street, Elizabeth City, N.C., died Thursday, July 12th, 2007, at the Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, Fla. Mrs. Harrell was born March 31, 1923, in Chowan County, N.C., the daughter of the late Joel Calvin Williams and Leora Smith Williams. She was predeceased by her husband, Carey William Harrell. She also was member of New Life Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her daughter, Eunice Harrell Etheridge of Hobbsville, N.C.; her sons, William Carroll Harrell and his wife, Lisa, of Alachua, Fla. and Carlton Wayne Harrell and wife, Donna, of Virginia Beach, Va.; her sisters, Mary Elliott of Elizabeth City, Ailine Foutch of Lancaster, Calif., Ruby Webb of Edenton N.C., Helen Forehand of Taylorsville, N.C., Hazel Black of Edenton, N.C., Ruth Holton of Creswell, N.C.; her brothers, Joel Calvin Williams Jr. of Denver, Colo., Thomas Octavias Williams of Surry, Va., Jack Williams of Creswell, and Melvin Williams of Elizabeth City; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Clay Manos officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Northside Road, Elizabeth City. The family will receive friends and family at the church after the service. A viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Twiford Funeral Home, at 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City.
