George H. Cummings, 85, of 607 No. Sheridan Ave., died Sunday in a local hospital. Born in West Virginia, he came to Tacoma 45 years ago to follow his trade of carpenter. He was a member of the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. Four nieces in the east survive.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the C.C. Mellinger Colonial Chapel, the Rev. W. T. Turner officiating. Cremation will follow.
