Mrs. Judith Diane Cook Blackwell, age 71 of Andalusia died Thursday, May 27 2010 at her home in the Carolina Community. Funeral services for Mrs. Blackwell will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 1pm from the Carolina Baptist Church. Reverend Bill Boles will officiate. Interment will be in the Carolina Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwell is survived by her two sons, Mark Blackwell and wife Stephanie of Columbus, Ga. and Bo Blackwell and wife Patsy of Andalusia; two daughters, Carol Salter and husband Ronnie of Stockbridge, Georgia and Sandy Smith and husband Tim of Anniston, Alabama; four grandsons, Kevin and Tyler Blackwell and Austin and Grayson Smith; two sisters, Susan Mayhew and Nancy McGee, both of Columbus, Georgia, special friend and care-giver, Susan Chappell.
The body will lie in state from 6pm Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.
