John Arthur Anderson (Art) was the son of Andrew John (Anders Johan) Anderson and Carolina Charlotte Andersdotter.
He married Edna Louise Berglund, daughter of Jonas Alfred Berglund and Alfreda Elizabeth Gustafson, on December 6, 1930. He and Edna had five children: Vincent, Arlene, Laurel, Marilyn, and LuVerne.
He farmed and also enginered drainage systems for many of the farm lands in the area of his home in Webster County Iowa. Art was a kind and considerate man, devoted to his family and God.
