Rosary for Frances Zapata, 75, of Lubbock will be at 7 p.m. today at White Memorial Chapel in Lubbock.

Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Salvation Army Church with Maj. Mark Satterlee officiating.

Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow under the direction of White Funeral Home.

She died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002.

She was born July 7, 1927, in Gonzales. She married George Zapata on Feb. 23, 1944, in Richmond. He died Jan. 9, 1975. They moved from Stafford to Lubbock in 1948.

Survivors include four sons, Raymond, Mario, Rudy and Jesse, all of Lubbock; two daughters, Mary and Rosie, both of Lubbock; a brother, Guadalupe Rodriguez of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
