John A. Tighe of Thornton, an auto mechanic, died June 5 at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was 70.
Memorial services were Friday at Aspen Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Mount Lindo Cemetery.
He was born April 9, 1931, in Crocker, Mo. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He married Mary Wogan. She died Nov. 30, 1999.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by a son, Roger, Thornton; a brother, David, Scottsdale, Ariz.; three sisters, Theresa Talbot, Carlsbad, Calif., Francis DeLaquil, Warrenton, Mo., and Mary Dunlap, St. Joseph, Mo.; and a grandson.
