Abboud-Sylvia Younan, 68, Has passed on to her home in heaven on October 24, 2008. In the early morning hours she moved on to rest with all the loved ones she has missed for so long.
While she was with us, mom enjoyed her ceramics that filled many lives of people she worked with at Woodland Acres, a retirement community. She also enjoyed following football with her family and friends, constantly reminding us of her passion for life, family and fun. We will sorely miss her, but we are happy that she is at rest, waiting to be with her family again.
Survived by her passing include her lifetime love and husband of 49 years, Fred Abboud, Sr; her first born Fred Abboud Jr; and loving daughters Pam Abboud and Angie Lavarias( married to Ben Lavarias). She also leaves brother Abraham Younan; sisters Mary Stewart and Betty Bass. And finally her adored granddaughter Lauren Alicia Lavarias.
The family will receive friends and family on October 27th, Monday at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home located at 4115 Hendricks Avenue. Her funeral service will be held at 10am, October 28th, Tuesday at the funeral home at the same location with Father Anthony Sebra officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetary.
